| HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS |
THE BLUE CRAB RESORT in Belize is a small and very private hotel. Accommodations include two thatch roof cabañas and four air conditioned rooms nestled in the palms, all located on the beach. We offer a modest, low density setting in a natural jungle environment, with emphasis on preserving wildlife habitat. The property is a beautiful five acre spread from sea to lagoon, and we can rightfully boast a precious well preserved and protected natural mangrove habitat that is home and shelter to many species of wildlife and fish.
THE CABANAS We have daily maid service, on grounds laundry service, free internet access, hotel security safe and free bikes available for our guests. We provide free taxi pickup & dropoff at the Placencia Airstrip and free Goss Chocolate & snacks in room upon arrival for reserved guests. |
Two of the Air conditioned rooms have queen beds, and the other two AC rooms have 2 double beds each.
All the AC rooms have large porches, table & chairs, small fridge and coffee/tea makers.
Regular American current is available to run your computer or stereo.
These rooms are 80 feet from the Caribbean & are surrounded by sea grape and palm trees.
One cabana has one double bed and one single bed, the other has two double beds. Both cabanas have private bath with hot and cold water, two fans in each cabana, thatch roofs, hardwood floors, private porches with a sea view, screened windows and they are located within 50 feet of the Caribbean Sea.| RESTAURANT | |
Our small private restaurant is located on the sea and has a spectacular view, full bar available. Linn was born in Taiwan; her Asian inspired cuisine is the one of the best in the area. She and her staff prepare many Caribbean and Continental dishes as well. The menu changes as different foods come into season. Local fruits and vegetables are always featured as is fresh seafood, and hormone-free Belizean beef & chicken. Breakfast is available for hotel guests every day in summer. The full restaurant reopens for lunch and dinner in November. We will be offering tempting new Goss Chocolate desserts beginning this season. There are also many very good local and international restaurants now in the area for visitors to have a great variety and choice.

Placencia now has three banks and ATM services. You can cash checks and get cash advances on your VISA or Mastercard. Most of the tour operators, restaurants and hotels
take credit cards or travelers checks. US cash is accepted as readily as
Belizean cash. The Blue Crab accepts VISA, Mastercard, travelers checks, US
cash and Belizean cash.
